Genealogy of the Shō Dynasties
The First Shō Dynasty and Second Shō Dynasty ruled the Ryukyu Kingdom in 1406-1469 and 1470-1879, respectively. In spite of the names, they were unrelated. Abbreviated genealogies of the two dynasties follow here.[1]
